On the eve of the Spring Festival, Zhu Xinwen, the owner of this office and the deputy mayor of Dungu Town, had a sudden illness and his life was set at 55 years old.

Family members said that he was busy; The colleague said that he was busy. Where did Zhu Xinwen go? After 31 years of career and 30 years of hard work in villages and towns, I didn't even have a "Guangcai" working photo. Zhu Xinwen, who was busy, left without leaving a word, but left a big responsibility.

At more than 3:00 p.m. on January 24, an unfortunate message was relayed in the "circle of friends" of party members and cadres in Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi Province: "Zhu Xinwen, member of the Party committee's propaganda committee and vice mayor of Dungu Town, died of cerebral hemorrhage and fell on the front line of poverty alleviation!"

Zhu Xinwen, a native of Lingjiao Town, Bobai County, has served in five townships since he started work in 1988. He has been working at the grass-roots level for 31 years. In the eyes of others, he is a good leader, party member and cadre. However, in everyone's eyes, the life of "three good cadres" is always fixed at 55 years old.

On the evening of January 22, he used his mobile phone to browse the poverty alleviation WeChat work group as usual, waiting for Zhu Xinwen to assign work to everyone in the group, but after looking through it for a long time, he did not see Zhu Xinwen's message.

There are 10 administrative villages in Dungu Town, with a total of 5037 poor people from 989 households. The task of poverty alleviation is arduous. As Zhu Xinwen has been at the front line for a long time and has close contact with the masses, the Party Committee and the government of Dungu Town arranged him to take charge of poverty alleviation in May 2017. Zhu Xinwen, who had just taken over the poverty alleviation work, immediately set about formulating the poverty alleviation work plan of the whole town. In order to make the work plan scientific and reasonable, Zhu Xinwen will lead all informants to enter the village more than three times a week to conduct a thorough investigation on the poor people, understand their living needs in their homes, and strive to accurately grasp the family situation of each poor family.

Although Zhu Xinwen has gone, his "figure" is everywhere in Dungu Town. Zhu Xinwen's name can still be seen on the column of the town government's poverty alleviation campaign and the bulletin board of the targeted poverty alleviation leading group in each poor village.

"It was he who led me out of poverty and made me rich, and also let my two college students get subsidies." Pang Houxiang of Qianlong Village in Dungu Town still remembers Zhu Xinwen. Since his child went to college, his tuition and living expenses have overwhelmed him. He had the idea of letting his child give up his studies. Knowing this, Zhu Xinwen formulated an industrial assistance plan for Pang Houxiang, encouraged him to raise pigs and cattle, and contacted technical guidance and sales channels everywhere. With Zhu Xinwen's continuous help, Pang Houxiang got out of the predicament.

In his spare time, Zhu Xinwen constantly mobilized members of the Bobai Photography Association to carry out various photography activities in Datang Village, posted photos of the scenery of Datang Village on the Internet for promotion and publicity, and won 1.8 million yuan for the county and village offices in Datang Village to develop beautiful villages, which made Datang terraced fields famous. Now, every autumn harvest season, many tourists from other places will come here, bringing considerable tourism income to local villagers.

"He publicized our Datang terraces!" Feng Minfeng, the branch secretary of Datang Village, Dungu Town, said that when Zhu Xinwen was appointed as the leader of the Datang Village Working Group, he saw the beautiful local scenery and thought of using the "agriculture+tourism" method to help villagers increase their income. Under his initiative, each family basically raised cattle or fish according to local conditions, which enhanced the endogenous power of poverty alleviation.

He is really the 'warm heart' of the poor people!" Bao Weijie said with tears in his eyes. Zhu Xinwen often talked about trying to make the poor rich. There are 807 people from 133 poor households in Datang Village. Under his leadership, 465 people from 50 poor households have taken off the "poor hat".

Since he started work, Zhu Xinwen has devoted himself to his career, leaving his family almost in a hurry.

"In my impression, work occupied most of my father's time." Zhu Jueyu, his son, recalled that his mother had been operated on due to illness before. During the 20 days from admission to discharge, she took care of herself alone.

Zhu Xinwen promised his wife and son that he would accompany them on the day of the operation, but because he was busy with poverty alleviation work, he couldn't get away from it. Zhu Jueyu, who was beside the hospital bed, called again with his apology. "My father often told me that only these people in my family need him, and in Dungu Town, there are thousands of poor families waiting to get rid of poverty and live a good life."

"His life is a tilted balance, and the focus always falls on work." Zhu Xinwen's brother Zhu Hai said that when he was busy, his brother seldom had time to go back to his hometown, especially after he took over the poverty alleviation work, the two brothers had little chance to talk about their daily life on the phone.

In the living room, dining table and computer table of Zhu Xinwen's family, there were piles of poverty relief materials that Zhu Xinwen had not been able to sort out before he died.
