He regards every construction site and laboratory as a stage for realistic ideals and demonstration. After 11 years of employment, he is a standard "post-80s", but has already been an expert enjoying the special allowance of the State Council. He also has a series of honors such as the National May Day Labor Medal, the "Central Enterprise Technical Expert", and the "Most Beautiful Young Worker in China". He worked in the site laboratories of Wuhan Qingling Flyover, Hubei Edong Yangtze River Highway Bridge, Hubei Hangrui Expressway Bid VIII, Enlai Enqian Expressway, Yichang Xijiang River Bridge, etc. of the Seventh Company of China Railway Bridge Bureau. He is Ou Changhong, the manager of the Testing Company of the Seventh Company of China Railway Bridge Bureau.
On the fourth day of the trip to Hubei (December 1), the reporter came to the No. 7 Company of China Railway Bridge Bureau in Wuhan and met Ou Changhong, the so-called "Jingchu Craftsman". All the way, we were curious about his age and how he could be so successful at such a young age. After meeting, we knew that his success could not be separated from his own efforts, diligence and innovation.

The soldiers who want to be good at their own business and don't want to be generals are not good soldiers. This is the belief Ou Changhong held before he joined the No. 7 Company of China Railway Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. in 2005. But at that time, he didn't know that his belief was actually the dream of a "great craftsman".

The 32 year old Ou Changhong is engaged in the type of work called building material testing workers. They do not directly construct the concrete, but they have to soak in the construction site every day. They have to run both the construction site and the laboratory. It would be wrong to think that the test technician only checks the raw materials such as steel bars, cement, sand and gravel. What kind of project, what part of the project, and what material of concrete should be used, are developed by them first, and each answer can only be completed through repeated tests.
