According to a recent report of the Workers' Daily, since 2005, Anshan Federation of Trade Unions in Liaoning Province has successively recruited workers of social chemical industry associations to grass-roots trade unions in 9 batches by means of appointment and socialized recruitment, providing indispensable human and intellectual support for the trade union organizations to live and turn.

At present, the scale of China's workforce is constantly expanding, and profound changes have taken place in enterprise organizational forms, workforce structure and labor relations. The demand of workers for social services such as trade union inclusive services, safeguarding legitimate rights and interests, achieving decent work and all-round development is growing, and the social work tasks of trade unions are increasingly onerous. It can be said that the shortage of staff has become a factor that can not be ignored to affect the work of grass-roots trade unions.

Building a high-quality and strong team of workers of the social chemical industry association is one of the important measures to strengthen the service force of the trade union, which is highly valued by the All China Federation of Trade Unions. In 2016, the General Assembly, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Professional Talents in Trade Union Social Work. In recent years, trade unions at all levels have strengthened the construction of professional talents in social work of trade unions and strengthened the strength of grassroots trade unions by starting with solving such issues as funding guarantee, post development and setup, talent evaluation, education and training. By September 2023, more than 40000 workers of the social chemical industry association have been selected and employed nationwide, and they have played an important role in social services for workers. However, the survey found that, compared with the number of workers, the total number of trade union social workers is in a big gap, and their ability needs to be improved urgently.

How to make more people willing to come, stay, and do well is the direction that should be worked hard to do a good job in the construction of the workers team of the social chemical association.

To make talents "willing to come", we need to continue to expand publicity channels and increase publicity efforts. What are the work contents of trade union social workers? What practical things can we help the staff and workers solve? Making these things clear makes people feel the significance of doing this work and the future development space, which can better stimulate their enthusiasm to participate in it. Especially for young groups, we should pay attention to the way of publicity, find out their active and gathering platform, make them truly understand the professionalism and importance of trade union socialization work, and eliminate their possible prejudice against this work.

To make talents "stay", we need more reasonable salary design and evaluation incentive mechanism. Remuneration reflects the sincerity of retaining people. Reasonable salary standards and growth mechanism will help social workers form stable expectations. A scientific evaluation and incentive mechanism can promote the quality and efficiency of the work of the workers of the Society, fully recognize those who are willing and capable, and make their work more energetic and career more promising.

A clearer career development path and more systematic professional training are required for talents to "do well". The social work of trade unions is a highly professional work. To keep up with the situation and provide accurate services, targeted training should be carried out for the workers of the trade unions, enrich the training content, optimize the teacher resources, expand the communication platform, and ensure that the learning and training can be implemented in specific work. At the same time, they can broaden their horizons, improve their working ability and become "generalists" in trade union work by means of job rotation exercise.

To extend the work arm and expand the service chain, trade unions at all levels should enhance their sense of urgency and responsibility, do a good job in the selection of trade union socialized authors in accordance with the requirements of "socialized operation, contractual management, professional training, and professional development", and incorporate talents who are interested in the work of trade unions, so as to build a broader stage for them to play their talents, We will further consolidate the work foundation of grassroots trade unions and effectively serve the broad masses of workers.
