It is understood that at the end of 2017, Hubei Provincial Federation, with the staff science and technology cultural center as the main body, established the provincial trade union staff innovation space, formulated and issued the Guiding Opinions on the Construction and Operation of the Provincial Trade Union Staff Innovation Space, and connected with the trade unions of some cities, prefectures and large enterprises in the province, held several project roadshows and lectures, and a number of projects have settled in the center, It has supported a group of laid-off employees of Baowu Wuhan Headquarters and other enterprises to open stores and start businesses, and has achieved initial results in leading and demonstrating.
At the same time of accelerating the construction and operation of the employee innovation space at the same level, Hubei Provincial President launched the "Workers' Cup" employee entrepreneurship and innovation competition, setting up two groups, namely, entrepreneurship group and innovation group. Participants or teams can choose one of the two groups to participate in the competition. The two groups are selected separately. The "Top Ten Entrepreneurship Awards" and "Top Ten Innovation Awards" are set up, and the award-winning units (or individuals) All of them can win a prize of 30000 yuan. After the provincial general assessment and publicity, the award-winning units (or individuals) that meet the conditions will be awarded the May Day Labor Medal and Medal of Hubei Province. At the same time, two "most popular awards" and "excellent project awards" will be selected through online voting and given certain rewards.
Entrepreneurial projects of the competition, focusing on the laid-off workers in the supply side structural reform, the children of college students from poor workers' families, lost land and migrant workers returning home, etc; Most of the innovation projects come from the model worker (staff) innovation studio and staff rationalization proposals. The organizing committee said that it encouraged projects in intelligent manufacturing, robotics, cultural creativity and other fields to participate.
