In order to focus on the actual combat needs of flood prevention, emergency rescue and disaster relief, further test and improve the actual combat level of the water rescue professional team of the detachment, and improve the ability to participate in flood control emergency rescue. Recently, Zhuzhou Fire Rescue Detachment mobilized 6 fire rescue stations, 85 officers and soldiers, and 23 rescue vehicles to participate in the 2024 Zhuzhou Flood Control Emergency Rescue Comprehensive Drill.
The preset scenario for this drill is that there is a torrential rain in Liling, Zhuzhou, and the water level of Daxi Beach in Lushui exceeds 52.5m. The flood in Shiting Town, Liling City is very dangerous, which directly threatens the lives and property of the people under its jurisdiction. Zhuzhou Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters immediately set up an on-site headquarters and issued flood control and rescue orders. The rescue team quickly gathered to reach the designated place for emergency rescue.
During the drill, the participating forces of Zhuzhou Fire Rescue Detachment focused on flood control and disaster relief tasks and actual combat requirements, combined with the complex environment of real waters, mainly carried out UAV search and rescue, boat formation travel, water robot rescue, centrifugal force rescue and other subjects, as well as cooperated with Xiangwei Rescue Team, Zhuzhou Primary Militia Team Xiangtan Jinyang Motor Pump Industry Rescue Team and other participating units completed helicopter air rescue, sub embankment construction, reservoir risk handling and other subject tasks.
After the drill, Yang Wangping, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhuzhou Municipal Committee, executive vice mayor of Zhuzhou Municipal People's Government, and chief commander of the drill, commented on the drill. Yang Wangping required that relevant units and staff should take the drill as an opportunity to carefully review, summarize experience and further enhance emergency rescue capability; We should work closely, improve the command and dispatching system, integrate all forces, ensure the efficient operation of flood control, and spare no effort to win the battle of flood control and disaster relief.
