Tianjin North News: On the 16th, the first China Road Cloud Integrated Unmanned Driving Challenge kicked off in the Sino Singapore Tianjin Eco City.
At 10 a.m., 58 teams from home and abroad gathered at the intelligent networking test section of the Sino Singapore Tianjin Eco City. Different from other intelligent autonomous driving events, this competition uses a unified unmanned vehicle, a unified road, cloud, network, and map, to test the ability of participating teams to innovate intelligent driving algorithms in the face of real road conditions.
The competition sets 15 simulated real road scenes, including autonomous parking, front car blocking traffic light coordination, etc. It attracted 245 contestants, most of whom came from 31 well-known universities at home and abroad, such as the National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
The competition lasts for five days, during which there will also be closed door meetings for leading driverless enterprises, carnivals for cars, and other activities to show the industrial ecology of smart networking in the eco city and promote production through competition.
