1. Project overview 1.1 Project location and construction significance: The suspension bridge of pedestrian landscape bridge is located on a tributary of Chaobai River in the north of Shunyi City, Beijing. It is a pedestrian bridge connecting the two sides. This bridge was built as a landscape bridge that will add color to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. 1.2 Project scale and form: 1.2.1 Building overview: the project covers an area of about 800 square meters, with a bridge length of 120 meters, a bridge width of 5 meters, a bridge deck slope of 2.56%, a half slope length of 70.4 meters, and a middle arch height of 1.488 meters. The bridge deck of this project is a twin box steel structure steel suspension cable bearing. The two ends of the main cable shall meet and be fixed at one point, and the center of the main cable shall be parallel to both sides of the bridge deck. 1.2.2 Structure overview: the bridge structure is a plate welded box type combination with nine diaphragms, which are connected with the upper and lower flange plates by ten webs. It is composed of eleven sections, three sections, high-strength bolts and welding, and the box section is 0.600m high. The space between the supports at both ends of the deck and the bridge center is controlled by the suspension tower sling. The total weight is about 350 tons. Q235B steel plate is used for bridge welding, 24mm steel plate is used for bridge deck and bottom, and 20mm steel plate is used for web plate and diaphragm. Two coats of anti-corrosive primer and two coats of finish paint. The total thickness is not more than 210um. 1.3 Bridge tower: it is a combination of two shuttle shaped columns to carry the main cable in a herringbone shape, tension and pressure, so the bridge deck can only be constructed first in this project. Then the construction rigging shall be in the required shape. 1.4 Natural conditions and technical and economic conditions: 1.4.1 Natural conditions: the landform at the bridge site is complex, with residential areas at both ends and abundant surface water. (1) Engineering geology: The riverbed is old and piled up, with deep mud, and trees on both banks need to be transplanted. (2) Climate: four distinct seasons, strong sandstorm accompanied by sand blowing weather. The precipitation is concentrated during the construction period, which is easy to cause summer waterlogging due to rainstorm. The temperature is relatively high in sunny days, with the maximum temperature of 41 ℃. (3) Technical and economic conditions: power for the project: diesel generator set, which needs fuel oil and noise protection. The transportation is close to the main road, so the transportation is convenient.
