It is mainly recharged by the lateral runoff between the same layers. The water volume is relatively rich, and it has hydraulic connection with the Yangtze River water. The Yangtze River water recharges the groundwater in the wet season, and the groundwater recharges the Yangtze River water in the dry season. The buried depth of confined water level measured during this survey is 5.4~6.7m, and the average water level elevation is about 15.95m. According to the hydrological data of Wuhan, the elevation of confined water level in flood season is generally about 19.0m, and the annual variation of water level is about 3-4 m.
