Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao expressway Method Statement for Removal and Displacement of Guardrail
1. Construction sequence: construction setting out, removal of the original guardrail, installation of guardrail posts 10 cm outside the outer edge line of the old road lane, installation of guardrail boards, construction of new roadbed, pavement subbase, lower base course, removal of the guardrail moved in, placement of water injection isolation piers, construction of upper base course of pavement. 2. From the beginning of construction setting out, the expressway on the construction side of the outside traffic lane shall be closed and driven as a single lane, and the speed shall be limited and overtaking is prohibited. According to the markings on the outer edge of the old road carriageway, the markings on the installation position of temporary guardrails shall be accurately set out, and white paint shall be used for marking. The temporary guardrail posts shall be set out according to the spacing between the original guardrail posts, and the cross shall be made with white paint. 3. To remove the original guardrail, first number the original guard board, then unscrew the fixing screws of the guard board, remove the guard board, and place it on the shoulder in order. The excavator is parked horizontally on the new subgrade, the original guardrail column is pulled out and placed on the shoulder in the same order. For the guardrail column that is difficult to pull out, the earth shoulder shall be excavated first and then the guardrail column shall be taken out. 4. During the installation of guardrails, the position of columns shall be strictly controlled. Firstly, drill holes to the depth required by the design according to the position of the set out column, then place the corresponding column in the empty space, and fill the gap with M10 # mortar to ensure its firmness. After the column is installed and fixed firmly, the guardrail board shall be installed in a timely manner. During installation, attention shall be paid to the original order to ensure that the screw hole position can accurately correspond and be firmly fixed. The guardrail boards are spliced with each other through splicing bolts, and fixed on the column or bracket by connecting bolts. The splicing direction of the guardrail boards shall be consistent with the driving direction. Guardrail components shall be erected as required, and shall achieve smooth and continuous installation effect. The connecting bolts and splicing bolts of the corrugated beam should not be tightened too early, so that the oblong holes of the corrugated beam can be used for timely adjustment during installation. The corrugated beam shall be coordinated with the highway alignment. When the guardrail alignment is considered satisfactory, the bolts can be tightened finally. The assembling bolts of the corrugated beam guardrail are high-strength bolts. During installation, the friction surface of the guardrail board should be kept dry and should not be operated in the rain. The high-strength bolts should be smoothly penetrated into the holes and should not be forced into them. The tightening degree of the splicing bolts should meet the requirements. The anti blocking block and bracket are fixed between the corrugated beam and the column through connecting bolts. Before tightening the connecting bolts, the anti blocking block should be adjusted to be in place accurately. The installation and construction of guardrails shall be carried out simultaneously with the removal and installation, so as to ensure the continuity of the whole road guardrail and ensure the safety of driving and construction. 5. Demolition shall be carried out according to the design requirements for the construction of new subgrade roadbed, pavement subbase and lower base. After the construction is completed, the guardrail moved in will affect the construction of the base and surface layer on the pavement, so it needs to be removed. The removal method is the same as that of the original guardrail, and attention shall be paid not to damage the old road pavement and base course. Before demolition, the water injection isolation pier shall be placed first. The water injection isolation pier is 60cm high, 60cm long, and 40cm wide at the bottom. It shall be placed close to the inside of the lane edge line outside the old road. 6 Construction precautions (1). Before the construction unit dismantles the highway production, it shall do a good job in statistics, establish a standing book, formulate a road production dismantlement plan (time, place, type, specification, quantity) and a traffic guarantee scheme, which can be implemented after being reviewed by the supervision unit, reviewed by the owner, and reported to the relevant departments for approval. (2) During the demolition, warning and construction signs shall be placed according to the requirements of the traffic protection method, the construction area shall be channelized with conical standard, and the traffic protection personnel shall be arranged to hold obvious signs (red flags) to ease the traffic and maintain the traffic safety facilities. The construction personnel shall wear reflective vests and helmets. It is strictly prohibited to enter the traffic lane to ensure smooth and safe construction of the expressway. (3) Before the demolition of the expressway production, the traffic guarantee supervisor shall complete the account registration of the road production to be demolished. During the demolition, the traffic guarantee supervisor shall supervise the construction unit to do a good job in the traffic guarantee work, urge the construction unit to properly keep the road production facilities, so that they can be handed over to the relevant units in the future.
