XX Hydropower Station Project is located on the upstream main stream of the Han River in XX County, Shaanxi Province. The dam site is about 1km upstream of XX Town, XX County, 51km away from XX County seat, about 120km away from Ankang Hydropower Station built upstream, and about 200km away from Danjiangkou Hydropower Station built downstream. It is the sixth cascade hydropower station in the cascade development planning of the upstream of the Han River. National Highway 316 and Xiangfan Chongqing Railway pass through the left bank and right bank of the hub respectively. The main task of the project is to generate electricity and take into account shipping. The project scale is second-class large (2) type. It is designed according to the once-in-a-century flood and checked according to the once-in-a-millennium flood. The corresponding peak flow is 30000 m3/s and 38100 m3/s. The average annual flow at the dam site is 732m3/s. The normal pool level is 217.30m, the corresponding reservoir capacity is 176 million m3, the total installed capacity is 276MW, the guaranteed output is 57.4MW, the average annual power generation is 953 million kW. h, and the annual utilization hours are 3530h. The recommended layout of the hydroproject buildings is the left bank overflow powerhouse scheme. The hydroproject buildings are composed of right auxiliary dam, vertical ship lift dam section, flood gate, powerhouse dam section (flood discharge surface outlet), installation bay and left auxiliary dam from right to left. There are 6 sets of tubular units in the powerhouse of the power station, with a unit capacity of 46MW. The river bed is used for construction diversion by stages. In the first stage, the right side is first protected, and the dam sections such as the vertical ship lift dam section and the flood gate are constructed. On the left side of Phase II enclosure, dam sections such as powerhouse and erection bay of construction power station are constructed. The total construction period is 52 months, and the power generation period of the first unit is 42 months. This section is the powerhouse dam section and diversion works on the left bank, including powerhouse dam section, installation bay dam section, tailrace auxiliary powerhouse (including indoor switchyard), Phase II diversion and closure works, gate and hoist installation, and Phase I embedded parts installation of metal structures.
