In order to ensure the filling quality and progress of the subgrade, two filling schemes are adopted for the filling of the test section. (1) Synchronous construction method of sand and clay. During the construction of this scheme, the sand and clay are always in a relatively horizontal state. In fact, the paving and rolling of sand and clay are synchronized. There are two different construction methods for simultaneous construction of sand and clay. First, after the edge covering clay and sand core are paved at the same time, the edge covering soil shall be compacted first, and then the sand shall be compacted after the compaction degree is reached. The second is to pave clay and sand at the same time. First, stabilize the clay twice, press the sand core, and finally roll the clay and sand at the same time. This filling method is difficult to operate in practice. The optimal moisture content of the two materials is different, and the compaction degree requirements cannot be met at the same time. Therefore, the first method is used to fill the test section.
