Construction organization design of comprehensive river training
Changsha is located in the eastern part of Hunan Province to the north, downstream of the Xiangjiang River. Changsha is the capital of Hunan Province. There are national highways and railways in the urban area that connect all parts of the province and all major cities in the country. The comprehensive improvement project of B lake section of the river is located at the lower reaches of the river, about 2.85km away from the river outlet, at the junction of Changsha City and Wangcheng County. It is adjacent to Fengshun Embankment in Yuelu District in the east, Yanghu Embankment in Wangcheng County in the south, and residential areas in Yuelu District in the north. It is a primary tributary of Xiangjiang River, originating from Saizichong, Baihe Township, Ningxiang County, flowing from west to east through Zhushiqiao, Lingguan Temple, Daolin Town, Dujiaba, Xiangtan County, Jiujiang Temple, Wangcheng County, to Baijiazhou, Changsha, and then flowing into Xiangjiang River. The drainage area is 781km2, and the average gradient of the main stream is 0.55 ‰. The main tasks of the project construction are: a. cut and straighten the river channel and dredge the river channel to shorten the river channel and smooth the flow; b、 New construction and heightening of levees to improve flood control standards; c、 New pump stations and culverts will be built, and existing culverts (culvert pipes) will be renovated and extended to improve drainage capacity; d、 Strengthen non engineering measures and management facilities to improve the overall level of flood control and drainage. The Changsha River B Lake Section Comprehensive Renovation Project is divided into three bid sections, mainly including the new flood control embankment 743.81m, the separated embankment 250m, the renovation and reinforcement of the Yanghu embankment 456m, and the embankment slope protection. The second bid section of Changsha River B Lake Section Comprehensive Renovation Project, stake number: river Z2+037.52-Z2+391.498 embankment. The planned commencement date of the project is October 28, 2007, and the planned completion date is June 28, 2008. The total construction period is 240 days.
