Geotechnical Engineering Investigation Record of Chengda Comprehensive Building
Chengda Complex Building is located at the intersection of the south side of Yujie Road and the fourth section of Renmin South Road in Chengdu. It is in an east-west rectangular layout. The building plane size is 35m × 62m, of which the main building is 58m long × 32m wide, 22 floors above the ground (± 0100=497132m), with a total height of 77180m. The podium building has two floors and two basements underground. Frame shear wall structure, raft foundation, foundation laying depth of - 9150m, unit load of 500kPa, buildings are sensitive to differential settlement, and the safety level belongs to Class I buildings. After the demolition of the old house, the elevation difference is only 0184m, which is relatively flat

Geotechnical Engineering Investigation of Tailings Pond of a Gold Mine in Guizhou
The proposed gold mine is located in Lannigou Village, Shaping Township, Zhenfeng County, Guizhou Province, 70km away from the town of Zhenfeng County, at the junction of Zhenfeng, Wangmo and Ceheng counties in southwest Guizhou Province, belonging to Guizhou Mining Co., Ltd. This project is to store the flotation tailings and carbon leaching tailings discharged from the concentrator. Two tailings ponds need to be built to store the flotation tailings and carbon leaching tailings. A flood detention dam will be built in the valley below the concentrator and waste rock yard to collect and clarify the storm runoff. In addition, a storm diversion dam needs to be built upstream of the flotation tailings pond. According to the height, storage capacity and safety level of tailings dam, the reservoir level index of flotation tailings dam is Grade II, and that of carbon leaching tailings dam is Grade III.
