The standard atlas of Piers for Flexible Interface Water Supply Pipeline (10S505) gives the standard drawings and dimensions of general piers. However, when using the standard atlas in municipal water supply pipeline engineering, some shortcomings are found: (1) When the design parameters exceed the scope of the standard atlas, the pier size cannot be found from the atlas. If the design internal water pressure is greater than 1.1MPa, it cannot be found from the atlas. If the water supply pipe diameter is 150, 250, 350, 450, it cannot be found from the atlas. (2) When the actual parameters are not equal to the parameters in the drawing, only the approximate value of the pier size can be obtained from the drawing, and the value of the selected size may be very large, which will cause certain waste. For example, when the depth of the groundwater level is greater than 0.5m, and the depth of the pipe cover is 1200mm, the size given by the atlas will obviously waste a lot of materials. (3) Some design dimensions given in the atlas are too large to be implemented in actual municipal projects, such as the pier width B value is 5000mm, and there is no corresponding space for arranging water supply pipes on urban roads to implement piers according to the dimensions given in the atlas. In view of this, the professional software of flexible interface water supply pipeline buttress is developed according to the calculation method proposed in the standard atlas.
