At present, in order to speed up the construction progress, shorten the construction period, improve the ventilation condition and labor conditions, the left and right lines of the tunnel adopt two working faces, namely, the entrance and exit face to face tunneling. There are three construction teams in total, one for the left and right lines at Ya'an end, one for the left and right lines at Lugu end, and four working faces are working at the same time. The Lugu end construction team has completed all works under the contract and left the site in April 2009. Now it is single heading. Up to now, the left entrance line has been excavated to K153+168; The left line at the exit has been driven to K153+277 (the mileage that has stopped construction is the mileage of the through face, and the left line is driven through with a single head), with 109m left from the tunnel through face. The right entrance line has been excavated to YK153+120; The right line at the exit has been driven to YK153+280 (the mileage has stopped construction, which is the mileage of the through face, and the right line is driven through with single head), and there is still 160m left from the tunnel through face.
