The China Myanmar Natural Gas Pipeline Project is one of the key projects for China to implement the energy strategy, and is the southwest channel for China's energy import. The trunk line starts from Kyaukpyu on the west coast of Myanmar, enters from Ruili, Yunnan, and ends at Guigang, Guangxi. The Myanmar China Natural Gas Pipeline Project (domestic section) includes one trunk line and eight branches, which are parallel to the Myanmar China Crude Oil Pipeline. The trunk line enters from Ruili City, Yunnan Province at No. 58 Boundary Monument, passes through Dehong Prefecture, Baoshan City, Dali Prefecture, Chuxiong Prefecture, Kunming City, Qujing City, separates the oil and gas pipeline in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, and the natural gas pipeline goes south through Guiyang City, Duyun City, Hechi City, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, and finally arrives at Guigang City.
