Design and construction of nursery stock planting in an ecological home
Land preparation, namely soil improvement and soil management, is a powerful measure to ensure the survival and healthy growth of trees. Before construction, relevant preparations must be made for the construction site to be prepared. (1) Clear the obstacles on the construction site. All obstacles that hinder the construction, such as stacked sundries, bricks and stones, shall be removed. Generally, the existing trees that can be preserved shall be preserved as far as possible. (2) According to the requirements of the design drawings, the site shall be divided into green areas and other land boundaries, and the predetermined terrain, or flat or undulating slopes, shall be sorted out to make it consistent with the surrounding drainage. For earthworks, it is necessary to dig first and then pad, fill low-lying areas, or backfill after removing a large amount of debris, pay attention to the compaction of the newly filled soil by layers, and increase the amount of fill appropriately, otherwise, once the rain subsides, it will form low-lying pits. If the ground subsides and backfill soil, the trees will be buried deeply, which is easy to cause dead trees; The soil surface shall be leveled after site cleaning.
