Comprehensive and in-depth analysis of waste gas treatment process
At present, the treatment of volatile organic pollutants includes destructive and non-destructive methods, and the combination of these two methods. 1. Destructive methods include combustion, thermal oxidation, and photocatalytic oxidation, which are mainly chemical or biochemical reactions, using light, heat, microorganisms, and catalysts to convert VOCs into non-toxic inorganic small molecular compounds such as CO2 and H2O. 2. Destructive method, namely recovery method, mainly refers to carbon adsorption, absorption, condensation and membrane separation technology, which can enrich and separate volatile organic compounds through physical methods, controlling temperature and pressure, or using selective permeation membranes and selective adsorbents.
