BIM electrical design case of a university student apartment and student canteen
The project designed with BIM is a university student apartment and student canteen. The student apartment has a building area of 10410m2, 5 floors above the ground and a building height of 20m; The student canteen has a building area of 4768m2, 2 floors above the ground and a building height of 14m. Theoretically, the information model can be directly used to guide building construction. However, the current market delivery standards still need to convert 3D models into 2D drawings of construction drawing design standards. The final results of this design not only include the three-dimensional information model coordinated by all disciplines of architecture, structure, equipment and electrical, but also the plane drawings that meet the design depth of the current construction drawings of all disciplines. In this design, the electrical discipline has completed the plan drawings of lighting, electrical, weak current and fire protection systems and the detailed drawing of the distribution room, especially the specific comprehensive layout of the electrical pipelines in the public area, showing the state after the actual construction is completed, and completing the final electrical design model.
