2. Design standard According to the requirements of the assignment, the design load of this bridge is steam level 20 and hanging level 100. The bridge is 7.5m wide and the carriageway is 6.5m wide. Cement concrete deck is adopted. 3. Geology of the bridge site The landform of the bridge site belongs to the intermountain valley landform, and the terrain elevation varies from 37.00m to 45.00m. The two banks are the alluvial terraces of the Xinxing West River. Because of water storage and power generation, the water depth is always about 3.00m~4.00m. Stratum characteristics at the bridge site are Quaternary alluvium (clay, loam and round gravel) and Cambrian sedimentary rock (weakly weathered sandy shale, strongly weathered sandstone and weakly weathered sandstone) from top to bottom. The seismic fortification intensity of the site is 6 degrees, and the design basic seismic acceleration value is 0.05g.
