Construction Scheme of Half through Steel Pipe Concrete Basket Arch Bridge in [Anhui] Bridge Project
The xxxx project is designed by Anhui Highway Survey and Design Institute. The main bridge is a half through concrete-filled steel tubular basket arch bridge with a span of 336m, with a rise height of 68m, a rise span ratio of 1/4.94, an arch axis coefficient of 1.55, and an arch rib of equal width and rectangular section. The section width of arch rib is 3.0 m, the section height of vault is 7.28 m, and the section height of arch foot is 11.28 m. A single arch rib uses four φ 1280 ㎜ steel pipes to form the upper and lower chords. The steel pipe wall thickness from vault to arch foot is 20 mm, 22 mm, and 24 mm respectively. Vertical web pipes, inclined web pipes, and transverse batten pipes are used between chords. Vertical web pipes and inclined web pipes use φ 610 × 12 mm and φ 508 × 12 mm steel pipes, Double web tubes are used at the section joints, and the cross web tubes are φ 813 × 18 ㎜. Multiple φ 377 × 8 ㎜ small cross tubes are used to connect the web tubes. A total of 24 cross braces are set between the upper and lower chords of the arch rib of the whole bridge, including 18 X-shaped cross braces above the bridge deck, 5 cross braces below the bridge deck, and 4 back to back K-shaped cross braces for the lower chord, which are made of φ 920 × 16 ㎜ steel pipes. The total weight of steel pipe components is about 5308 tons.
