XX Hydropower Station is located on Shuoduogang River, a tributary of XX River downstream of XX Town, XX County, XX Autonomous Prefecture, XX Province. It is the second cascade hydropower station in the eight stages of the first reservoir of Shuoduogang River planning, and is also one of the follow-up cascade projects of the first stage project of Jichongjiang River Hydropower Station and the development of Luosiwan Hydropower Station in the basin. The hydropower station adopts diversion type development mode, with two units. The total installed capacity of the power station is 120MW, the drainage area above the dam site is 1123km2, the total natural storage capacity is 2519200m3, the natural regulating storage capacity is 1090900m3, and the regulating storage capacity after sedimentation balance is 826900m3; It is a daily regulation reservoir. The installed utilization hours of the power station are 4690h (joint operation), the average annual power generation is 562.8 million kW. h (joint operation), and the water utilization coefficient is 88.48% (joint operation). It is a hydropower project focusing on power generation. The hydroproject is mainly composed of concrete gate dam, diversion tunnel, penstock system, ground power house and other buildings. The concrete gate dam is located on the Shuoduogang River about 15km downstream of XX Town, with the dam crest elevation of 3137.00m and the maximum dam height of about 36m. The waterway system is arranged along the left bank of Shuoduogang River and consists of bank slope intake, headrace tunnel, surge shaft and penstock. The headrace tunnel is about 14.47km long, with an inner diameter of 3.3~4.3m; The surge shaft is about 104.11m high and 7.5m inner diameter; The penstock is basically laid along the slope inclined shaft, with a length of 1054 m and a diameter of 2.6 m, and a middle flat section. The powerhouse is located near Huajiaopo Village on the left bank of Shuoduogang River, about 5km upstream of Chongjiang Bridge. The size of the powerhouse is 58m × 21m × 36m (length × width × height). Two 60MW impulse water turbine generator units are installed in the powerhouse. According to relevant specifications, this project is determined as a Class III project, and the main buildings in the hub buildings, such as the head hub, flood discharge buildings, water diversion system buildings, power house and substation, are Class 3 buildings. The project construction preparation period is 3 months; The total construction period of the project is 33 months, of which the preparation period is 6 months, the construction period of the main works is 24 months, the completion period of the project is 3 months, and the power generation period of the first unit is 30 months. The controlling construction period of the project is as follows: the excavation of the diversion tunnel construction adit will start in April 2004, the first unit will generate power at the end of June 2006, and the second unit will generate power at the end of September 2006, and the project will be completed.
