The same situation also occurred at Ningbo port. The cost of customs clearance of waste aluminum alloy at Ningbo port was 2340 yuan/ton in September, and rose to 2430 yuan/ton in October.
At present, the cost of customs clearance of waste aluminum continues to rise, but the speed of customs clearance has not been significantly improved. The customs audit on the designated units is relatively strict, and the imported aluminum scrap enterprises can only trade the scrap to the designated units approved by the customs, which causes some import enterprises to have difficulties in shipping and cannot pick up the goods in time.
