Renal calculi can be diagnosed by physical examination and imaging examination. Physical examination showed that the costal lumbar point had obvious percussion pain at the lower edge of the 12th rib and the outer edge of the psoas major muscle, suggesting that there might be kidney stones. If the diagnosis is confirmed, it is confirmed by color ultrasound of urinary system, abdominal standing plain film or CT of urinary system. For examination, the cost of color ultrasound is between 100-150 yuan, plain film is within 100 yuan, and the cost of urinary CT is between 400-600 yuan. Through these examinations, the location, size, quantity, and nature of kidney stones can be determined. Because uric acid stones are not developed on plain film, they must be confirmed by CT of urinary system, and various auxiliary examinations complement each other to confirm the nature of stones.
