Treatment of sandy dermatitis

Sandy dermatitis, also known as frictional lichenoid rash, is a common skin disease of preschool children in summer and autumn, which is characterized by temporary, traumatic and non-specific inflammatory reactions. Children usually have scattered papules on the back of the hand, forearm and elbow, and some can develop into mild lichen like changes. At ordinary times, you should avoid all kinds of irritants, contact with sand, plastic toys, colorful bubble mud and other irritants, and avoid crawling on blankets or grass. Besides medication, calamine lotion and glucocorticoid cream with weak to medium effect can be selected. The itching is obvious and can be treated with oral antihistamines.
