The most basic examination items of liver are hepatitis B five items, liver function and liver B ultrasound, which are also routine items of liver examination at present. If these three examinations are normal, the general problem is not serious, but the symptoms and signs of the patient need to be combined. If there are significant abnormalities in these three examinations, it is also necessary to make accurate judgments based on the results. Sometimes these three results can clarify the type and nature of the disease, such as fatty liver, viral hepatitis B, liver cysts, hepatic hemangioma, primary liver cancer, etc. Of course, there are many times when the final diagnosis and severity assessment cannot be made by these three examinations alone, and other relevant examinations need to be further improved, such as the four items of liver fiber, the determination of liver instantaneous elasticity, tumor markers, enhanced CT and MRI, and autoantibodies. Since there are many examination items, it is also necessary to select an appropriate examination method to further clarify the clinical diagnosis according to the above three examination results and the patient's medical history, symptoms and signs. If the non-invasive examination is still unclear, sometimes liver biopsy and liver angiography are also required.
