How to reverse cirrhosis

Only early cirrhosis can be reversed. For cirrhosis that has entered the middle and late stages and has undergone changes in liver morphology, it is unlikely to be reversed. If you want to reverse early cirrhosis, you need to find the cause and treat it. For example, chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis can be slowed down by taking antiviral drugs such as entecavir or tenofovir to inhibit the replication of the virus, alleviate liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, and reverse cirrhosis. For chronic hepatitis C, DAA drugs can be used to cure hepatitis C, which can reverse early cirrhosis. There are also cirrhosis caused by other reasons, such as autoimmune hepatitis. Immunosuppressive drugs such as hormones can be used to gradually alleviate the disease and reverse cirrhosis.
