Meningitis in children is mainly judged from the following aspects: 1. Most children have a history of colds, pneumonia and tuberculosis before onset. 2. Most of the children may refuse to take milk, cry more, and may also have symptoms such as fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, and even drowsiness, irritability, hypotonia, and even convulsions. In addition, meningitis can cause meningeal irritation. 3. Cerebrospinal fluid examination is the most important means to diagnose meningitis in children. For children with meningitis, the pressure of cerebrospinal fluid is generally high, while for tuberculous meningitis and purulent meningitis, the appearance is turbid, the number of cells in cerebrospinal fluid is normal, and the protein in cerebrospinal fluid is biochemical. If cerebrospinal fluid culture can produce virus, bacteria or tuberculosis, meningitis can be diagnosed more accurately.
