The etiology of most chronic nephritis is not clear at present, and only a few chronic nephritis is caused by the development of acute nephritis. Although the etiology of chronic nephritis is not clear, most studies believe that immune mediated inflammatory damage plays a very important role in chronic nephritis. In the mechanism of chronic nephritis, in addition to immune factors, non immune factors such as hypertension, proteinuria, hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia also play a very important role in promoting chronic nephritis. Chronic nephritis usually develops slowly and insidiously, and its clinical manifestations are diverse, including hematuria, proteinuria, hypertension, edema, and chronic nephritis develops in different ways, which will eventually lead to uremia.
