Operation method
To enable mobile detection, three conditions must be met: the camera has an interface to extend the detection device: generally, the general monitoring head has an interface, but the interfaces of different devices are different. Please consult the manufacturer of the camera and detection device before purchasing, so as not to buy the wrong one and have to modify it yourself. The interfaces are all plug type now, and can be directly plugged in without using tools.
Installation of detection equipment: the common detection equipment includes infrared radiation, infrared curtain, infrared area, etc., and the connector can be plugged into the corresponding interface of the camera according to the instructions. Some special detection equipment needs power supply. The corresponding socket can be directly plugged in.
The monitoring server supports the trigger of mobile detection: after the infrared detection device finds the object displacement, it sends a signal to the camera and the monitoring server to start shooting and video recording; Usually the camera and server sleep, which can save the storage space of video recording.
If the setting is unsuccessful, please confirm whether the camera has its own motion detection function. If not, you need to purchase another detection device and confirm that the camera has a detection device socket. The location and type of interfaces of different equipment are different, so it is not possible to figure them out one by one. It is recommended to consult the manufacturer.
The optical flow method based motion detection uses the optical flow characteristics of moving objects changing with time. For example, Meyer [2] initializes the contour based tracking algorithm by calculating the displacement vector optical flow field, so as to effectively extract and track moving objects. The advantage of this method is that it can also detect independent moving objects under the premise of camera motion.
However, most of the optical flow calculation methods are quite complex and have poor anti noise performance. Without special hardware devices, they cannot be applied to real-time processing of full frame video streams. There are some other methods in motion detection, motion vector detection method, which is suitable for multi-dimensional changing environment. It can eliminate the vibration pixels in the background and make the moving objects in one direction more prominent. However, the motion vector detection method cannot accurately segment the objects.
