Urinary occult blood (+-) means that a small amount of red blood cells can be seen in the urine, which often indicates that there are clinical related diseases, such as urinary tract infection, urinary system stones, and it does not rule out the possibility of glomerulonephritis or urinary system tumors. If there is urinary tract infection, the irritation of inflammation to the urinary tract mucosa will cause congestion and edema of the mucosa, which will lead to red blood cells entering the urine from the capillaries. If there are stones, they will scratch the capillaries and cause urinary occult blood. Further color ultrasound examination and 24h urine protein quantitative detection are needed to clarify the cause.
