Vesicular beriberi can be treated with antifungal drugs. There are two commonly used drugs, oral drugs and topical drugs, including itraconazole capsules and terbinafine cream. Vesicular beriberi is also called blister scale type foot moss. Foot moss is a fungal infectious dermatosis caused by dermatophytes infecting plantar, heel and plantar. In clinical practice, vesicular and scaly tinea pedis often presents needle or mung bean sized deep blisters on the fingertips, soles and lateral edges. The blister fluid is clear, the blister wall is thick, and it is not easy to break. Some of the blisters can be fused to form bullae. For such patients, the blisters can dry up after a few days, and there will be collar like scaling. In the early stage, potassium permanganate solution can be used for wet compress or soaking. After the skin lesions are dry, antifungal drugs can be used for oral and external treatment to improve symptoms.
