When connecting to a shared printer, you may sometimes need to enter an account and password. But the print host does not set a password, the guest user has been turned on, the firewall has also been turned off, and other print services have also been turned on, but still need a password, so what do we do? Now let me help you solve this problem.
Operation method
Start Enter gpedit.msc to open the Group Policy Editor
In the Group Policy Editor, open: Computer Configuration - Windows Configuration - Security Settings - Local Policy - User Permission Assignment - Deny Access to the Computer from the Network Open Deny Access to the Computer from the Network, and delete the guest account
Then open: Computer Configuration - Windows Configuration - Security Settings - Local Policy - Security Options - Network Access: Sharing and Security Model of Local Account in sequence, and change the access type to Guest Only
Then find my computer icon on the desktop and click Manage. Go to the page as shown in the figure, click: Local Users and Groups - Users - Guest, enable the Guest account, and remove the check before the account has been disabled
Open in Network and Sharing Center --- Select Home and Sharing Options --- Change Advanced Sharing Settings --- Turn off password protected sharing
Try to connect the printer again. There should be no problem.
