For examination of carcinoembryonic antigen tumor indicators, if the patient has been confirmed to be a malignant tumor and tumor markers are of clinical value, it is recommended that the examination time of tumor indicators be within two years, once every three months, once every six months from two to five years, and once a year for more than five years during the treatment interval and follow-up, But it needs to be checked together with other tumor indicators. At the same time, it is suggested that patients should combine imaging examination. The clinical value of tumor markers should be objectively evaluated. Some patients can evaluate whether there is recurrence and metastasis through tumor markers, indicating the existence of tumors, and evaluating the treatment effect. But even when the tumor load of some tumors is high, the tumor markers are still within the normal range. For these patients, the clinical value of tumor markers is not significant.
