If there are only spots on the neck and no spots on the face, the possibility of Malassezia folliculitis must be ruled out. Malassezia folliculitis is a kind of clinical skin inflammation caused by fungal infection, which generally occurs in the neck and jaw. Local pustules with white heads, accompanied by obvious itching, need to go to the hospital for fungal culture and mycelium examination for diagnosis. If the patient has acne on the face and chest except the neck, it is generally considered to be common acne. In fact, acne can appear in many parts, which does not mean that the appearance on the neck is corresponding to which body organ has a problem. There is no such statement in clinical practice.
