The symptoms of clinically common transient ischemic attacks are regarded as the precursor of cerebral thrombosis, or a strong warning signal of stroke. The symptoms of transient ischemic attack are also related to the blood vessels of its onset: 1. Transient middle cerebral artery ischemia leads to transient monoplegia, hemiparesis and lingual paralysis of the opposite limbs, which may be accompanied by hemiparesis and contralateral homonymous hemianopsia. Aphasia and apraxia often occur when the dominant hemisphere is involved, and spatial disorientation can occur when the non dominant hemisphere is involved. 2、 Transient cerebral ischemia of the anterior cerebral artery may lead to personality and emotional disorders, weakness of the opposite lower limbs, etc. 3、 Transient cerebral ischemia of internal carotid artery system, mainly manifested as ophthalmic artery cross paralysis, horner cross paralysis. 4、 Transient cerebral ischemia of the vertebral basilar artery system, the most common ones are vertigo, balance disorder, abnormal eye movement and diplopia. There may be unilateral or bilateral facial, perioral numbness, isolated or accompanied by opposite limb paralysis, sensory impairment, typical or atypical brain stem ischemic syndrome.
