Cervical cyst is a cyst formed by retention of glandular secretion due to blockage of cervical gland orifice or stenosis. Cervical glandular tube stenosis can be caused by the new squamous epithelium in the transformation area covering the cervical glandular tube orifice, or it can be caused by local damage to the cervix, or chronic inflammation of the cervix, which makes the cervical glandular tube orifice narrow. During examination, single or multiple bluish white small vesicles protruding from the surface of the cervix can be found. Due to the long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation, the cervical tissue repeatedly produces congestion, edema, inflammatory cell infiltration and proliferation of connective tissue, which may lead to the hypertrophy of the cervix. In serious cases, the normal cervix can be more than doubled. But cervical cysts are generally benign and inflammatory reactions. If there is no abnormal leucorrhea or recurrent vaginitis, there is no need to treat it. Regular inspection is enough.
