For people with a family history of ankylosing spondylitis, if the hla-b27 test is positive, and there are some common clinical manifestations of patients with ankylosing spondylitis, such as lumbar or lumbosacral pain, spinal or lumbar mobility limitation, and their collection test is positive, they should be considered to have ankylosing spondylitis. Hla-b27 is one of the human leukocyte histocompatibility antigens. It is an important laboratory test for the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis clinically. Hla-b27 is closely related to ankylosing spondylitis, which can cause immune response, damage the fibrous ring of the major joints of the limbs, fibrosis and ossification of adjacent connective tissue, and finally cause ankylosis of the joints. However, it does not mean that the elevation of hla-b27 must be ankylosing spondylitis, which needs to be confirmed through other examinations.
