There are three kinds of drugs for anxiety disorder in clinic. The first kind of anti anxiety drug is commonly used clinically as benzodiazepine anti anxiety drug, lorazepam and alprazolam. Estazolam or non benzodiazepine anti anxiety drugs, such as tandospirone and buspirone. The second category is the first-line antidepressants recommended for the treatment of anxiety, such as serotonin reuptake inhibitor antidepressants, paroxetine, sertraline, fluoxetine, escitalopram and other drugs. The third class of drugs is beta adrenergic receptor blockers. Propranolol is mainly used clinically. Good therapeutic effects can be achieved through the standardized treatment of anxiety disorders by the above three drug systems.
