What is first grade hypertension

Grade I hypertension is relatively mild hypertension, which can be controlled through reasonable diet and exercise without drug treatment. When blood pressure is measured in a calm state, the systolic pressure is 140~159 mm Hg, and the diastolic pressure is 90~99 mm Hg, which can be defined as primary hypertension. Grade I hypertension is the primary stage of hypertension patients. If it cannot be controlled and stabilized as soon as possible, it will reach the level of Grade II hypertension or above, so drug treatment is needed. Mild elevated blood pressure may return to normal with active treatment. At ordinary times, all factors that are not conducive to the control of blood pressure should be avoided as far as possible, and physical exercise should be strengthened.
