Pyelography, also known as intravenous pyelography. Generally, gas producing food should not be eaten 3 days before radiography, drinking water should not be drunk 12 hours before radiography, breakfast should not be eaten in the morning, and neither water nor food should be eaten. Defecation and urination are required before radiography, which makes the intestine and bladder empty. The procedure is to take a routine flat film of the abdomen in the supine position, and then prepare the abdominal compression band. 20ml contrast agent can be injected intravenously, either compound meglumine diatrizoate or iohexol can be used. At the same time, the pressure of abdominal compression varies from person to person. After the injection, keep the venous channel and start timing. Take pictures at 15 minutes, 25 minutes and 35 minutes respectively, mainly in the renal area. After decompression, take another flat film of abdominal supine position. Every time when taking pictures, the patient must hold his or her breath, especially the last one. The last one can be taken several times in succession. After inspection, drink more water. This is usually used to check the urinary tract to see if there are stones and tumors. It is a more accurate check.
