In May 2020, the national online reporting departments at all levels accepted 15.199 million reports, an increase of 4.2% month on month and 21.5% year on year. Among them, the Central Cyberspace Office (the State Internet Information Office) reported 113000 violations and bad information, down 56.4% month on month and 33.0% year on year; The reporting departments of the local online information offices accepted 1.346 million reports, down 3.2% month on month and 58.7% year on year; 13.74 million reports were received by major websites nationwide, up 6.3% month on month and 51.3% year on year.

Among the reports accepted by major websites nationwide, microblog, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, Sina.com and other major commercial websites accounted for 82.4%, accounting for 11.323 million.
