On the morning of January 6, the second general meeting of the Council of the Foundry and Die Casting Branch of Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society was held in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of South China University of Technology. The purpose of the meeting is to elect the members of the new Council, summarize the work of the previous Council and plan the future development direction. Zou Wangqin, founder of Die Casting Network, was invited to attend the meeting and was elected as a member of the 2nd Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lei Yusheng, the leader of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of South China University of Technology, delivered a warm speech. He extended a warm welcome to the guests and representatives present, and affirmed the achievements of the Foundry and Die Casting Branch in the past few years. The college will continue to support the branch's work and jointly promote the development of the foundry and die casting industry.
Subsequently, the meeting entered into the work summary report of the previous session of the Council and the financial report of the previous session of the Council. The report comprehensively summarizes the work of the last Council in organizational construction, academic exchanges, technical services and finance.
The meeting also approved the list of voters and vote counters for the general election, and conducted the general election. After a tense and orderly voting session, the new council members were successfully elected. Wu Chunmiao, the chief voter, announced the election results, and Liu Yihua, the leader of the provincial society, read out the letter of approval for the election results and delivered a speech.
At the same time, the conference also issued honorary certificates to the chairman, vice chairman and secretary-general of the second session of the Council, the director and deputy secretary-general of the second session of the Council of the branch, and the honorary chairman certificate of the second session of the Council of the branch. Zou Wangqin, founder of Die Casting Network, was invited to attend the meeting and was elected as a member of the 2nd Council.

At the last part of the meeting, the new chairman delivered a speech. He said that he would live up to expectations and lead the new Council to continue to promote the development of the casting and die-casting industry. He believed that with the joint efforts of all members, the casting and die-casting branch would usher in a better tomorrow.
The successful holding of this meeting marks that the Foundry and Die Casting Branch of Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society has entered a new stage of development. The new Council will shoulder greater responsibility and mission and contribute to the prosperity and development of the foundry and die casting industry.
This conference is not only a grand event of the Foundry and Die Casting Branch of Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, but also a grand event of the whole casting and die casting industry. It not only injects new vitality into the development of the industry, but also points out the direction for future development.
