On November 7, 2016, the Cyber Security Law of the People's Republic of China was formally adopted at the 24th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress. After that, local Cyber Information Offices strengthened the requirements for website filing, and some regions required to submit website security testing reports issued by a third party when filing with public security organs.
