As the saying goes, "A drop of water will repay a fountain.". Then, the question comes: what about the blood feud? (Reward good for evil? Don't fool the ghost!) In a civilized society, patient victims' families may choose to go through the judicial process, send the case to the legal jury, and wait for the final result, which is usually modelled: either no investigation, or warning education, or detention, or indefinite, or death. Here, rather than saying that the victims' families are patient, we should say these two words: "lazy" and "timid".
