Tencent cloud server is a domestic cloud server used by many people, occupying a considerable share of the domestic cloud server market. Its stability and fast access speed are obvious to all. After a period of use, our business has had a certain amount of access. At this time, after the stage of adjusting and optimizing the server performance, the server may occasionally slow down and get stuck. Repeated debugging eliminates the possibility of program errors and server errors, After a long time, we will consider whether the server configuration has failed to meet the business needs, and how to judge Do you want to upgrade the configuration of Tencent ECS What about? The following Weieis blog explains this problem based on personal experience.
1、 How to find Tencent ECS monitoring?

1. CPU: It can be seen that the average CPU utilization rate is 4.632%, and the maximum utilization rate is 95.8%. The maximum and average average CPU load are also extremely low, and the maximum and average benchmark CPU utilization rates are not high. Whether the CPU needs to be upgraded depends on the type of business. If the CPU reaches the peak value, but does not have a general impact on the business, there is no need to upgrade the CPU; If the business itself has bursts or high concurrency, it is recommended to upgrade if the CPU reaches the peak. From the business of this server, there is no need to upgrade the CPU at present.
2. Memory: the average memory utilization is 30.539%, the maximum is 38.316%, the average memory usage is 306.818MB, and the maximum is 385MB. There is no need to upgrade the memory.
You should note that the Max value in the graph is an instantaneous value, which occurs occasionally, and has no impact on the server. The real reference value is Avg, which is the average value within the selected time interval.
3. The general production environment, such as intranet and internet traffic and hard disks, will not exceed the limit. Some friends' business will also have internet traffic and hard disks that are not enough. You can upgrade them as appropriate. Don't wait until Stuck affects business.
4. At ordinary times, I come to see what new changes have taken place regularly, and have a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic situation of my business. As a server operation and maintenance personnel, I still need to comprehensively grasp a variety of different information.
The background monitoring data provided by Tencent Cloud can be seen as long as you log in to the server management interface. The detailed data can completely provide the user with the auxiliary basis for whether to upgrade. If the CPU utilization rate is 100% or the Max value is often close to 90% at this time, it indicates that there is a sudden or high concurrency situation; The memory usage and utilization rate are the same. If it is close to 900M or 1000M frequently, you must upgrade the configuration in advance, because visitors often get stuck when visiting, which affects the normal operation of the business.
The above is a summary of Weieis Blog's experience in personal use of Tencent Cloud CVM Server, which is more convincing from practical experience. If you have any views, please leave a message below to discuss.
