Renaming the phpmyadmin directory in the lnmp environment

After installing the lnmp environment, we need to change the name of the phpmyadmin directory for security reasons. Weieis Blog strongly recommends that you change a name that is not easy to guess, such as the combination of letters and numbers.

Take lnmp1.3 as an example. The directory of phpMyAdmin is/home/wwwroot/default/. After you enter it with the SSH software command cd/home/wwwroot/default/

The command is as follows:

Format: mv source directory name new directory name

Example: mv phpmyadmin burongyicaidao

 xgphmyadmz

Tip: Changing the directory name will not affect the normal operation of phpmyadmin.

Before modification, your phpMyAdmin login address is: https://Your IP/phpmyadmin

After modification, your phpMyAdmin login address is: https://Your IP/bourongyicaidao

In this way, when you use phpmyadmin, the relative security is higher. The longer the renamed directory is, the more complex it is. Many scanning software may take longer to crack, which also reduces the possibility of being cracked.
