How to enable and use Astra settings

Astra Settings (Astra settings), also called page metadata, will appear in all pages and article pages of Astra themes. This is Astra's setting item in the page, which can better control pages and articles, and can be used to override custom designs.

1. Turn on Astra settings

Astra settings are not enabled by default in Gutenberg editor. We can enable them through options.

Open a page or article at random, click "Options" in the upper right corner of the editing area, and click "Preferences" at the bottom of the menu.

Find "Panel">"Extra" in the preferences, and turn on the Astra settings.

2、 Introduction to Astra Settings

As shown in the figure below, this is the whole content of Astra settings. The following settable items are included:

Astra Theme:

• sidebar
• Content layout
• Disabled part: disable main title, disable title, disable bread crumbs, disable featured pictures, disable footer
• Transparent Title

Astra Pro plug-in: page header and sticky header are added.

The above meta settings are provided under the Astra Settings tab of each page and article. You can find it in the right sidebar when editing pages/articles.

3、 How to use Astra settings

If you have enabled the title on the entire website, but need to disable it only on the "contact" page, you can edit the contact page and disable the title from Astra settings. In the same way, you can control other meta settings.

Note: Page metadata has higher priority than custom settings, that is, your page metadata will override the custom settings of specific pages/articles.
