How to build multiple websites on the old Xue host

Many webmasters will set up multiple websites at the same time. The old Xue host supports the installation of multiple websites in one host space, so it is quite cost-effective to buy the old Xue host. Add an additional domain in the cPanel of the old Xue host, and upload the website program to the corresponding website root directory.

1. Domain name resolution to Laoxue host

No matter which domain name provider you use, Laoxue hosts support Domain name resolution (binding) to host IP and CNAME resolution (partial).

The CNAME (if any) is resolved first, otherwise the host IP is resolved.

2. Add additional fields

Enter the cPanel (the fastest way is to enter from the user center>activated products. In addition Two methods to access the cPanel of Laoxue host ）。

Find Domain>Additional Domain, as shown in the following figure.

Multiple different sites can be installed in one virtual host space through "additional domain", and multiple sites can be run simultaneously by binding subdirectories with domain names.

Create an additional domain

• Enter the domain name in the input box, such as vpsss.net, and do not fill in www;
• Other contents will be automatically generated by the system;
• If a separate FTP account is required, check "Create an FTP account associated with this additional domain";
• Click the "Add Domain" button.

The domain name is added successfully.

The system automatically creates the vpss.net folder in the website root directory public_html, that is, the root directory of the second website. Next, upload the website file to the/public_html/vpsss.net/directory.

3. Establish website

Upload the website program to the root directory corresponding to the additional domain, and then operate according to the program installation process. such as Lao Xue's host manually uploads the program to install the WordPress website 。

The old Xue host supports the installation of multiple website packages in one host space. Except for No. 1, other packages are OK.
