1、 Optional server

This article takes the purchase of Tencent Cloud Server as an example to illustrate how to use the Discuz! Image builds a forum. First, let's choose the payment server and choose Discuz! Mirror.

3. Click [Image Market] in "Image" and select [Select from Image Market].

4. Select [Site Creation System]>[Discuz X3.4 Forum System] for free.

5. Select storage media, bandwidth, set security group and other configurations according to the actual needs. Remember to check the use of vouchers before paying, and finally include Discuz! Purchase of mirrored ECS.

2、 Build and enable Discuz! forum

Resolve the domain name to the server IP in advance, and complete the website filing (mainland region). Then open the website in the browser and enter Discuz! Install page. Click [I agree] to enter the check installation environment page.

The installer will check whether the server status conforms to Discuz! The installation conditions of, as shown in the figure below, are all green checkmarks.

The current status is OK. Click Next to enter the page of setting up the running environment. Generally, you will choose a new installation, including the UCenter Server program.

Enter the Create Database page. Fill in relevant information according to the prompts on the page, which is Discuz! Create a database.

Use the default MySQL account and password (root/123456 by default) of the image to connect to the database. And set the system mailbox, administrator account, password and email. The administrator account password is used to log in to Discuz in the future! It is used by the forum management background, so it should be recorded for use.

After the installation is completed, click [Your forum has been installed, click here to access] at the lower right corner of the page. When the forum is successfully opened, the installation is successful.
